The Western Bed One of our longest running projects, was the reconstruction of the Western Bed, in collaboration with the Garden Staff. Some sections feature different colours and others a particular family of plants. This has been an exciting project, introducing many new plant species into the Gardens. 
 
 The Long George Longley Buiding This is the Friends home and it is named after Goerge Longley, the first Curator. All of the various working groups meet here, including our engraving section who has moved out of their storeroom and are enjoyng the well lit and spacious workspace.
